The Unlikely Village of Eden Book Deal

I’m thrilled to announce that my memoir The Unlikely Village of Eden will be published as a lead title for spring 2023 by Central Recovery Press. This independent press is a great fit, in part because of our shared values including destigmatizing conversations about mental health. They “encourage a holistic approach to emotional, physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.” CRP published the groundbreaking New York Times bestseller My Grandmother’s Hands: Racialized Trauma and the Pathways to Mending Our Hearts and Bodies by Resmaa Menakem, along with other powerful books that focus on healing and systemic change. I’m honored to join them in launching The Unlikely Village of Eden in April!
